Local CDL-A Delivery Driver — $24.17–$35.46/hr

Our company is hiring a local CDL-A delivery driver in Sacramento, CA to deliver industrial gas and equipment products to customers on a 1st shift schedule. You'll handle freight directly and interact with customers daily.

Pay

• $24.17 to $35.46 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

• 1st shift, local routes

• Expect around 10-12 stops per day

What you'll haul

• Gas and equipment products delivered to and picked up from customers

• You'll load and unload freight yourself

• Accurate tracking of quantities and product types delivered and picked up

• Hazmat shipping paperwork completed per DOT rules

• Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, flagging any repair or maintenance needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, with solid English reading and writing skills

• Valid Class A CDL plus either 2 consecutive years of driving experience or a recent truck driving school certificate

• Minimum age 21

• Hazmat endorsement already on your CDL, or ability to get one within 60 days of hire

• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the last 2 years

• No alcohol-related convictions in the last 10 years

• Must pass a DOT physical and hold a medical certificate

• Able to push, pull, move, and lift at least 75 pounds
