Local CDL-A Dedicated Driver — Daily Home Time, $18/hr + Bonuses

J.B. Hunt is hiring a local CDL-A driver in Rancho Cucamonga, CA for a Dedicated Contract Services route, hauling steady freight for one customer and getting home every day.

Pay

You're paid an hourly rate for every hour worked, plus an activity-based bonus. That bonus equals your eligible activity pay minus your base hourly earnings for the week.

• Base rate: $18 per hour

• Holiday pay: $300 per day

• Per-mile rate: $0.70 - $0.80 per mile

• Detention: $25 per hour

• Stop pay: $30 per stop

• Mechanical breakdown pay: $25 per hour

• Layover: $100 per occurrence

• Weekly show-up bonus: $200

• Shuttle work: $25 per hour or $225 per day

• Pay while waiting on a power unit: $25 per hour

• Mandatory meeting pay: $25 per hour

• DCS outsource work: $245-$270 per day

• Intermodal outsource work: $100-$250 per load

• 6th day incentive: $75 per day

• Safety training pay: $20 per hour

• New hire training pay: $245 per day

Over the past six to twelve months, drivers in this role have averaged $79,000 a year. Your actual earnings depend on things like completed training, paid breaks, endorsements held, time on the job, equipment type, and how many days you work each week. Safety-based bonuses may also apply depending on performance.

Home time

You're home daily, with onsite management support and paid online orientation to get you started.

• Class A CDL

• At least 18 months of trucking experience
