About this job
Our company is looking for a local CDL-A driver in Shreveport, LA to handle city pickup and delivery runs, returning to the terminal each day.
Pay
- Starting at $32.62 an hour
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, various shifts
- You'll be home every day
What you'll haul
- LTL freight with multiple stops per shift
- Includes scanning freight, interacting with customers, and liftgate drops using an electric pallet jack
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience in the last 3 years
- Clean MVR and PSP record: no serious commercial violations, no more than 3 moving violations in 3 years
- Minimum age 23 (or 21 if you qualify under the military-to-civilian CDL program)
- Able to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and road test
- Physically able to bend, lift and stoop
- Doubles/Triples, Tanker or Hazmat endorsements, hazmat hauling, local or LTL experience, and electric pallet jack experience are a plus
