Local CDL-A City Driver — $33.94/hr, Home Daily

Our company, a Midwest LTL carrier, is hiring a full-time Class A driver for its Omaha, NE terminal. You'll run local routes, home every day, with a Monday-Friday daytime schedule.

Pay

• Starts at $33.94/Hr, rising to $35.63/hr after your first year

• Quarterly safety incentive bonus for full-time drivers: $250 per quarter, up to $1,000 a year based on eligibility

Home time

• Home daily, Monday through Friday dayshift

What you'll haul

• General freight moved between customer locations and between company terminals

• You'll load and unload trailers yourself or with dock crew help, and secure loads with straps as needed

Requirements

• At least 23 years old

• A minimum of one year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience

• Must pass a our company driver-trainer road test

• Must hold or obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements on your CDL

• Only one valid CDL, issued by your state of residence

• No DUI, OWI, or reckless driving citations in the last 5 years

• Clean, acceptable motor vehicle record

• Must pass a DOT physical and functional screening

• Consent to pre-employment and historical drug/alcohol testing

• 10-year work history review, with any gaps over 30 days explained
