Local CDL-A Car Hauler — Home Daily, $1,715–$1,830/wk Avg

Our company is hiring CDL-A drivers in Elyria to haul vehicles on 9-car haulers between its production facilities and delivery hubs. You'll be home every day after finishing your route, and no prior car-hauling experience is needed since full paid training is provided.

Pay

• Average weekly pay of $1,715 to $1,830, plus bonus opportunities

• Pay is per mile, with extra earning potential

• Night route pay differential, quarterly bonuses, and extra day pay available

• $5,000 sign-on bonus, paid in $2,500 installments every 6 months

• $5,000 additional relocation assistance for qualified drivers moving to Elyria, OH

Home time

You return home after every route.

Schedule

Schedules run on a quarterly basis, and a quarterly shift bid process lets you adjust your schedule over time.

What you'll haul

You'll load, secure, and transport vehicles on 9-car haulers between our company facilities, following set delivery schedules and safety procedures while keeping accurate driver logs.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with a current medical card

• At least 21 years old

• Able to read, write, and speak English

• 6 months of tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years, or equivalent military experience

• Clean driving record and valid CDL-A maintained throughout employment

• Able to walk 75 feet, climb a 10-foot ladder, and bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand, and climb to secure loads

• Comfortable working outdoors with frequent standing, walking, stooping, pushing, and pulling

• Good vision and manual dexterity, and use of required safety gear such as non-slip shoes and gloves

• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
