Local CDL-A/B Delivery Driver — Home Daily, $21–$23/hr

Drive local refrigerated delivery routes across Louisiana for our company, with no overnight trips and a guaranteed trip home every day. You'll run a Class A or B straight truck or box truck, handling product at each stop.

Pay

• Starting pay is $21-$23 per hour, with a stated rate from $23.00 per hour

• Overtime hours may come up depending on business needs

Schedule

• Routes usually roll out around 3:00 a.m.

• You're back home every day since these are local runs

• Be ready for weekend and holiday shifts as the schedule demands

• Overtime shifts can be expected at times

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated product delivered in a Class A or B truck

• Routes stay within Louisiana, strictly local with no overnights

The job

• Get product to customers on time and in good condition

• Load and unload freight, using a hand truck or pallet jack as needed, and get in and out of the cab repeatedly throughout the route

• Fill out delivery and transport paperwork accurately

• Represent the company well with customers

• Stick to DOT and company safety rules

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL

• A minimum of 1 year driving a straight/box truck or bigger commercially

• Able to get and keep a DOT Medical Card

• Clean enough driving record to pass review, with no more than 1 moving violation in the last year

• Reliable enough to show up for early starts

• Able to lift as much as 60 lbs. and use equipment for heavier items

• Fine working in cold storage and freezer settings
