Local CDL-A/B Delivery Driver — $27.50–$35.25/hr

Our company is looking for a local delivery driver in Fairbanks, AK to run scheduled routes delivering gas and hardgoods products to customers. You'll work a steady Monday through Friday day shift.

Pay

• $27.50 to $35.25 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, day shift

• Occasional mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required for on-call coverage

What you'll do

• Load and unload your truck and complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

• Run both scheduled and non-route deliveries to keep customers satisfied

• Keep load paperwork and all required company and DOT records accurate and up to date

• Watch for issues with cylinders, pull orders from the warehouse, and collect customer payments

• Help customers with inventory and delivery questions

• Follow all safety rules, wear required protective gear, and flag any hazards you notice on the job

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT and airbrake endorsements

• At least 1 year of Class A or B CDL driving experience within the past 5 years, or a certificate of completion from a trucking school finished in the last 12 months

• Current driver's license, DOT medical card, and endorsements kept up to date

• No more than 2 traffic convictions or 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years (or no more than 1 of each)

• No DUI or controlled substance violations in the last 7 years

• Able to pass drug screening and work in a drug-free workplace

• Able to lift 75 lbs regularly and move loads over 125 lbs with material handling equipment

• Forklift experience is a plus
