About this job
Our company, based near Palm Springs, is looking for a hotshot driver to haul vehicles using a brand new truck and trailer. You'll mostly run enclosed car transport loads across the western states.
What you'll haul
- Vehicles moved mainly in an enclosed trailer, with some open transport work
- Routes covering all western states, run out of the Palm Springs area
What you'll do
- Drive a brand new truck and trailer, keeping safety and reliability a priority
- Plan and follow routes with GPS to hit delivery windows across the region
- Load, secure and unload vehicles carefully, following proper handling and cargo procedures
Requirements
- Solid background in commercial truck driving, including delivery and route work focused on car hauling
- Hands-on experience running a hotshot rig, ideally for vehicle transport
- Comfortable using GPS tools to plan efficient routes
- Able to safely handle the physical demands of loading and unloading
- Knows proper loading and securing methods for different types of vehicles
- Clean driving history and a strong commitment to safe driving
