Hazmat Chemical Truck Driver — Full Benefits & Pension

Our company is looking for a driver to transport bulk and non-bulk chemical products out of Calgary, AB. This role involves hands-on hazmat handling, so prior experience with chemical transport is essential.

What you'll haul

• Bulk and non-bulk chemical products, including hazmat loads requiring pumping and air pad displacement

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up chemical shipments safely and professionally

• Keep your assigned truck clean, mechanically sound and safe

• Fill out logbooks, inspection reports, run sheets and bills of lading accurately and on time

• Flag any unsafe conditions to District Management right away

• Plan your workday to hit deadlines and keep the business updated on progress

• Pitch in on other projects as your Operations Manager assigns them

Requirements

• Fluent in English, spoken and written

• Comfortable with electronic logging, online training and telemetry tools

• High school diploma

• Valid driver's license for the role

• Air brake certificate

• Clean driver's abstract (required before road test)

• Satisfactory CRC

• At least 2 years handling and transporting hazmat chemicals, including pumping and air pad displacement

• Solid grasp of the Highway Traffic Act as it applies to truck driving

• Knowledgeable in TDG and WHMIS standards
