Our company in Rigby, ID is looking for a driver to run commercial waste collection trucks on local routes. You'll handle front loader, roll-off, and side load trucks while keeping neighborhoods and commercial sites clean.
Pay
- From $250.00 per day
What you'll do
- Drive front loader, roll-off, and side load trucks along scheduled routes
- Load and unload waste following hazardous materials rules and safety guidelines
- Complete pickups on time across assigned neighborhoods or business locations
- Check your truck before and during shifts and flag any mechanical issues
- Keep records of routes run, waste collected, and inspection results
- Talk with customers on your route and handle their questions professionally
Requirements
- Experience driving commercial trucks (front loader, tractor-trailer, roll-off, or flatbed) with a manual transmission
- Working knowledge of traffic laws, safety rules, heavy lifting, and hazardous materials handling
- Familiarity with municipal solid waste collection procedures
- Clean driving record and defensive driving habits; comfortable with air brakes and load/unload work
- Basic mechanical skills for routine checks and minor troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills for working with customers outdoors
- Willingness to work outside in all weather; route driving experience is a plus
- Must follow DOT and state transportation regulations at all times
