About this job
Our company operates FedEx Ground delivery routes out of its Hayward terminal, covering Livermore's homes, businesses and suburban streets. You'll drive a company-supplied P1000 truck, moving packages until your route is finished.
Pay
- $180 to $240 per day, or $18 to $30 per hour, your choice of structure
- Paid weekly, every Friday
- Training pay: $180 per day for five days
Home time and schedule
- 5 to 6 days weekly, Monday through Saturday
- Weekends are required during peak season
- Shifts begin at 8 AM and run roughly 8 to 10 hours, ending once the route is complete
What you'll haul
- Residential and business package deliveries throughout Livermore's suburban areas
- Roughly 100 miles driven per day
- Truck, uniform and gear are all provided by the company
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Must clear a background check and drug test
- Able to lift up to 150 lbs and get in and out of the truck repeatedly, with regular bending and lifting
- Comfortable working solo and juggling several tasks
- Courier background helpful but not required; full training is provided
