Equipment Hauling Truck Driver — $28–$30/hr

Our company is hiring a truck driver in Saint Albans, WV to move construction and heavy equipment to and from job sites. You will drive both commercial and non-commercial vehicles and are expected to work safely and on schedule.

Pay

• $28.00 to $30.00 per hour

• The exact rate depends on your qualifications, experience and location

What you'll do

• Deliver and pick up construction materials and heavy equipment

• Do the DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Chain, strap and bind loads following DOT procedures

• Keep delivery paperwork on hand for inspection

• Keep the branch manager or central dispatch updated on delays, traffic and weather

• Build good relationships with customers and follow company safety procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• At least 1 year of driving experience you can verify, or a valid CDL

• Valid DOT medical card

• Working knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

• Able to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis

• Nice to have: trailer towing or rollback, hauling, or construction equipment operating experience
