About this job
Our company is looking for new CDL-A drivers for OTR dry van work. You'll start with paid mentor training, then move to per-mile pay on no-touch freight. No prior driving experience required.
Pay
- While training with your mentor, you'll earn $650-$850 a week
- After the 4-week training period, you move to per-mile pay of $0.55-$0.69
Home time
This is an OTR position, so expect to be out for about 2 weeks between home stays. It's not a job that gets you home nightly.
What you'll haul
- You'll run OTR lanes hauling dry van trailers
- Freight is no-touch and sealed, so you won't be loading or unloading
Training
A mentor rides along with you during your first weeks to help you get comfortable with the job before you're running on your own.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record
- Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and be enrolled in the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Must have completed ELDT through an FMCSA-registered provider
- Recent CDL school graduates and new license holders welcome
