Entry-Level CDL-A Driver Trainee — $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Our company in Marshall, MN is looking for a CDL-A driver trainee to learn tractor-trailer and straight truck delivery of food products on local, OTR, shuttle, and overnight routes.

Pay

• Drivers average $80,000 a year, with top performers earning over $100,000

• $10,000 sign-on bonus (terms apply; not available to anyone who worked for a PFG company in the last 6 months)

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, early morning starts

• Shifts typically run 10-12 hours, with start and end times that can vary

What you'll do

• Go through PFG's entry-level driver trainee or Dock to Driver program, riding along and assisting a trainer

• Run pre- and post-trip inspections on tractor and trailer per DOT rules

• Check that freight is loaded and secured, and verify paperwork against customer invoices

• Deliver orders on assigned routes, unload product, and get customer signatures

• Handle customer returns, damaged goods, and related paperwork

• Log hours of service and keep your truck and dock area clean

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience

• Minimum age 21

• Clean driving record for the past 3 years

• Must pass a post-offer drug screen and road test

• Current DOT health card

• High school diploma or GED

• Able to lift and move product cases weighing roughly 60-90 pounds using hand tools like two-wheelers and lift gates
