About this job
Our company is looking for an entry-level CDL-A driver to deliver food products to local customers near La Crosse, WI. No prior commercial driving experience is needed, and training pays a set hourly rate before you move to your regular route.
Pay
- Training rate: $29.70 per hour
- After training, drivers average $346.00 a day, with top earners bringing in over $100,000 a year
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, no nights or weekends
- Typical shifts run 10-12 hours, with varying start and end times
What you'll haul
- Food and food-related products delivered via tractor trailer or straight truck
- Mix of local, over-the-road, shuttle, and drive-and-drop routes
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- 0-6 months of CDL experience accepted for external entry-level hires
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Clean driving record over the past 3 years
- Must pass a background check, drug screen, and road test
- Current or obtainable DOT health card
- Able to lift and move product by hand, from about 10 to 90 pounds depending on location
