Our company is hiring a DZ driver (broker team) in Dartmouth, NS to deliver materials safely and on schedule. This is a permanent, full-time role paying $23.00–$25.00 per hour.
Pay
- $23.00–$25.00 per hour
What you'll do
- Deliver a wide variety of items, including tailgate deliveries
- Plan and follow delivery routes and schedules
- Load, unload, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle
- Perform basic vehicle safety checks and preventative maintenance
- Log work/rest periods and kilometers driven
- Follow trucking regulations and company policies
- Report any defects, accidents, or violations
Requirements
- Valid truck driver's license with air brakes endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience, or 1 year with a CFTR course
- Clean driving record with no recent violations
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Strong organizational and time management skills
