DZ/AZ Snow Plow Operator — $30.42/hr

Miller, part of our company Canada, is looking for Snow Plow Operators to join its winter road maintenance team on Ontario's provincial highways. This role can be full time, part time or casual, and you'll run a combo plow unit on local roads and highways during winter storm events.

Pay

• $30.42/hr

What you'll do

• Operate a combo plow to clear snow on local roads and highways per contract requirements

• Operate a loader and handle other maintenance tasks as needed

• Learn route maps and sand/salt application rates

• Keep fuel logs, safety reports and hours-of-service records up to date

• Clean and maintain your equipment and carry out routine upkeep and small repairs

Schedule

• Be ready to respond to call-ins within 30 minutes

• Work assigned shifts plus extra hours (evenings, weekends, nights, holidays) when winter weather demands it

• Be prepared to work outdoors in harsh winter conditions

Requirements

• Valid DZ or AZ license with a clean driving record, plus a CVOR

• Comfortable operating a loader and doing general maintenance work

• Winter-works operations experience is a plus

• Mechanical skills for basic equipment upkeep and minor fixes are a plus
