Document Shredding Route Driver — $20–$26/hr

Our company, LLC is hiring a Document Shredding Driver II in Santa Clara, CA to run pickup routes for confidential material destruction. You'll operate commercial trucks, handle secure loads, and work directly with customers along your route.

Pay

• $20.00 to $26.00 per hour

• Expected hours: 40.0 per week

What you'll haul

• Shredding containers holding confidential documents, picked up and dropped off along assigned routes

• Operate front loader, rear loader, and roll-off trucks

What you'll do

• Load, transport and unload containers while keeping sensitive materials secure, following hazardous materials rules when they apply

• Check your truck before runs for mechanical problems, including air brakes and manual transmission issues, and handle minor fixes or flag repairs needed

• Keep route logs, delivery records and incident reports current, and stay in touch with dispatch about delays or route changes

• Follow safe loading and unloading practices to avoid spills or damage, including lifting heavy items when needed

• Represent the company professionally with customers at each stop and answer their questions about the service

Requirements

• Background running front loader, rear loader and roll-off trucks in waste or solid waste collection work

• Solid understanding of traffic and DOT rules, hazmat handling where relevant, and general safety procedures

• Mechanical familiarity for inspections and basic repairs; knowing air brakes and manual transmissions is a plus

• Clean commercial driving record with route and delivery experience

• Able to lift heavy loads safely and work outdoors

• Strong communication and customer service skills
