About this job
Our company is looking for a full-time delivery driver in Manteca, CA to run FedEx Ground routes, handling package pickups and drop-offs at homes and businesses.
Pay
- $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
What you'll do
- Complete a route with roughly 185-215 stops per day
- Check your vehicle each day before heading out
- Plan and organize your load
- Scan packages and keep accurate records of every pickup and drop-off
- Finish your full route on schedule
- Communicate with your manager and give customers good service
- Work solo or alongside teammates as needed
Requirements
- At least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Box truck or step van delivery experience is a plus
- Must pass a drug screen (marijuana included) plus random testing during employment
- Must pass a DOT physical
- Must pass FedEx Ground's criminal background check
- Able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs and handle up to 150 lbs with a hand truck
- Able to climb stairs while carrying packages and work in any weather
- Dependable transportation to get to work, and ready to start on time every day
- Strong, reliable work ethic
- Must be able to work out of Manteca, CA
