Delivery Driver — $20/hr

Our company in Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 is hiring a delivery driver to haul parts to customers in a company vehicle. You'll load and unload the truck by hand, check that parts match the paperwork, and handle payments and signatures at each stop.

Pay

• $20 per hour

What you'll do

• Operate a company vehicle safely on delivery routes, following traffic laws

• Load the truck and check the vehicle, manifest and paperwork before heading out

• Unload at each stop, confirm parts against the order, and get a signature from the receiving location

• Note any returns on the manifest and issue receipts for parts coming back

• Collect payments from customers when needed

• Follow all applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules

• Complete required annual training and follow company policies

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history

• At least 1 year of relevant experience

• Minimum age 21

• Must qualify for the company's vehicle insurance program

• Must meet DOT physical and testing standards and know DOT/FMCSA rules

• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and handle physical tasks like bending, climbing, kneeling and standing for long periods

• Some exposure to tight spaces, vehicles, extreme temperatures and noise; protective gear may be required

• Occasional travel, including overnight trips, depending on the role

Preferred but not required: a high school diploma or GED, six months of delivery driving experience, and prior warehouse experience.
