Courier Driver — Floating Routes

Our company is hiring a floating courier driver in Debert, NS to cover open delivery routes when the regular courier is away, handling at least 15 different routes rather than one fixed route.

What you'll do

• Drive a company vehicle to deliver and pick up packages across assigned coverage areas

• Fill in for routes without a permanently assigned driver

• Act as a mentor to hourly staff, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving

• Look for opportunities to support sales and additional revenue

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• At least six months of prior courier experience

• Valid driver's licence and a clean driving record (no more than two infractions or accidents in the last 24 months)

• Must complete and keep current DG (dangerous goods) certification, including yearly recurrency training

• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and move packages as heavy as 150 lbs with equipment

• Bilingual in French and English if working in Quebec

• Strong customer service, analytical and organizational skills

• This role has no fixed route; schedules and coverage needs vary by station

• A valid licence such as Class 5, G or Class 1/AZ is required depending on location
