About this job
Our company is looking for a Courier to drive a company vehicle making deliveries and pickups in Meridian, ID. You'll handle packages, check shipments for proper service compliance, and interact directly with customers.
Pay
- $22.10 per hour
Schedule
- Schedule to be determined by the hiring manager
What you'll do
- Pick up and deliver packages in a courteous, efficient manner
- Verify shipments meet our company service standards
- Handle related customer service tasks
- Take on other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid license for the type of vehicle you'll drive
- Able to lift 50 lbs and move heavier packages with equipment or help from another person
- Strong people skills and clear verbal communication
- Professional appearance for customer-facing work
- Must meet FMCSA qualifications under section 391
- Must pass a DOT medical exam; this is a non-covered safety-sensitive role
- Able to stay alert and work safely at all times
- At least 21 years old
- Able to read and speak English well enough to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials, per FMCSA guidance
