Class C Paratransit Driver — $18.50/hr + $200 Sign-On Bonus

SMS Transportation moves passengers around Los Angeles and nearby communities, getting people to medical appointments, school and other non-emergency stops. This Carson, CA based role runs year-round with schedules that vary.

Pay

• Starts at $18.50 per hour

• $200 sign-on bonus after 90 workdays, as long as your record is free of discipline or attendance issues

What you'll do

• Drive passengers safely and courteously to their destinations within the service area

• Help riders who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices get on board, and secure their equipment properly

Schedule

• Full-time, with varying schedules and work available all year

Requirements

• Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to read and speak English

• At least 23 years old

• Held a valid California driver's license for a minimum of 3 years

• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening

• Clean background check, with no felony or misdemeanor convictions

• At least 1 year of customer service experience

• Able to commute to Carson, CA
