Class 3 Truck Driver / Warehouse Associate — $28.50/hr

Our company, a major Canadian distributor of pipe, valves, fittings and piping accessories, is hiring a Truck Driver/Warehouse Associate in Dartmouth, NS. You'll handle local deliveries, vendor pickups and warehouse duties, working Monday to Friday with occasional overtime required.

Pay

• $28.50 per hour

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

• Overtime availability required

What you'll do

• Deliver customer orders safely and on time, plus handle vendor pickups and second-run deliveries

• Load and unload trailers, pick orders and restock inventory using hand trucks and mechanical equipment

• Stay in touch with customers and sales staff about delivery updates

• Report any equipment or shipment damage

• Keep your truck safe and properly maintained

• Maintain a clean driving record

• Take on other warehouse tasks as needed

Requirements

• Valid Class 3 driver's licence (Nova Scotia) or provincial equivalent, including air brake endorsement

• At least 10 years of driving experience in warehousing or distribution

• At least 1 year of driving experience at or above this licence class

• Clean personal and commercial driving records

• Able to lift 50 lbs consistently

• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

• Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and tight deadlines

• Attention to detail

• Forklift and pipe yard experience preferred; a valid forklift licence is a plus

• Industry knowledge is an asset

• Must have Canadian work authorization; sponsorship is not offered
