Class 1 Truck Driver Trainer — $28–$35/hr

Our company is looking for an experienced Class 1 driver to train new drivers at its Dartmouth, NS location. You'll be paid hourly for all your time on the job, including fueling, warming up the truck and paperwork, plus time and a half past 44 hours a week.

Pay

• $28.00-$35.00 per hour, starting at $25/hr for new trainers

• Many trainers end up earning $80,000+ a year

• Overtime paid at time and a half after 44 hours/week

What you'll do

• Train new drivers and help them build real skills

• Grade and evaluate students

• Track and report on student progress

Requirements

• A valid Class 1 licence

• At least 5 straight years of verifiable AZ/Class 1 driving experience

• A current CVOR, a 3-year driver's abstract, and a criminal record check

• A letter from an insurance company confirming your experience

• Comfortable speaking with and coaching people, confident decision-making

• English required
