Class 1 Truck Driver — $7,000–$9,000/Month

Our company in Calgary, AB is looking for a Class 1 truck driver to move freight on local and regional routes. You'll handle loading, deliveries and some vehicle upkeep as part of a busy logistics team.

Pay

• $7,000.00-$9,000.00 per month

What you'll haul

• General freight transported by commercial truck on local and regional runs

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 truck safely, following traffic laws and safety rules

• Load and unload cargo with a forklift or other equipment, securing it properly

• Check brakes, lights, tires and fluids before each trip

• Keep accurate records of deliveries, pickups and vehicle logs

• Handle minor mechanical fixes or troubleshooting to keep the truck running

• Stay in touch with dispatch, warehouse crews and customers to manage schedules

• Run a forklift in the warehouse to help with loading and unloading

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license; prior commercial driving experience preferred

• Comfortable operating a forklift and handling freight

• Familiar with heavy equipment and related safety practices

• Able to perform basic auto repairs or diagnose issues

• Good communicator with coworkers and clients

• Careful and thorough with inspections and paperwork
