Class 1 Truck Driver — $24.00–$36.50/hr

Our company in Dartmouth, NS is looking for a Class 1 truck driver to haul freight and materials on various routes. You'll need to work safely, keep deliveries on time, and handle some loading and basic vehicle upkeep along the way.

Pay

• $24.00 to $36.50 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive commercial trucks to get freight and materials to the right locations

• Load and unload cargo, using a forklift or other equipment when needed

• Check your vehicle before and after each trip to confirm it's safe and compliant

• Keep delivery logs and vehicle paperwork up to date

• Handle minor repairs or troubleshooting to keep your truck road-ready

• Stick to traffic laws, safety rules and company procedures

• Stay in touch with dispatch, clients and teammates about schedules and any problems that come up

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 commercial driver's license with a clean record

• At least 1 year of commercial driving, freight hauling, or similar experience preferred

• Forklift or heavy equipment experience is a plus

• Basic automotive repair or maintenance know-how is helpful

• No logistics or transportation background required - company-specific training is provided
