Class 1 Truck and Wagon Driver

Our company is looking for seasoned Class 1 truck and wagon operators to handle heavy hauling work across varied terrain. You'll be trusted with demanding assignments that call for strong safety habits and mechanical know-how.

What you'll do

• Drive Class 1 trucks and wagons to move freight between sites, following safety rules and internal policies

• Check trucks, wagons, and attached equipment before each trip to catch issues early

• Load and secure cargo, using a forklift or other equipment when needed

• Keep accurate records of pickups, drop-offs, and vehicle usage

• Handle minor mechanical fixes or diagnose problems to limit downtime

• Stay in contact with dispatch and site staff to coordinate timing and delivery needs

• Wear required PPE and follow all on-site safety procedures

Requirements

• Solid track record running Class 1 trucks and wagons commercially, with an emphasis on safety

• Comfortable operating a forklift and handling freight and heavy equipment

• Familiar with trucking compliance rules and regulations

• Able to complete thorough pre-trip checks and troubleshoot mechanical concerns

• Strong communicator who can follow instructions in a busy setting
