Class 1 Truck and Wagon Driver

Our company's Inc. is looking for skilled Class 1 truck and wagon operators to handle freight transport across different terrains while keeping safety front and center. You'll work with heavy-duty equipment, support timely deliveries, and help keep operations running smoothly.

What you'll do

• Drive Class 1 trucks and wagons over both short and long distances

• Check vehicles and equipment before each trip to confirm everything is roadworthy

• Load, secure, and unload cargo, using a forklift when the job calls for it

• Keep detailed and accurate records of trips, deliveries, and inspections

• Stay in contact with dispatch and site staff to keep schedules on track and sort out any problems

• Handle basic mechanical troubleshooting and small repairs to limit downtime

• Follow all required safety rules for equipment handling and driving

Requirements

• Current Class 1 license with a clean record

• Hands-on experience running trucks, wagons, and heavy equipment commercially

• Familiarity with freight handling and safety practices

• Comfortable operating a forklift (certification is a plus)

• Able to do basic mechanical troubleshooting

• Solid grasp of loading and unloading heavy equipment

• Strong communication skills for working with the team
