About this job
Our company is looking for a Class 1 driver to run Texas Bed truck operations in the oilfield, covering both local jobs and camp postings in Alberta.
What you'll haul
- Heavy equipment, drilling and service rigs, 400-1000BBL tanks, rig mats and similar loads
- Various trailer sizes and configurations, including pulling combinations and securing loads
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 licence
- At least 3 years of winching experience
- Experience operating a Texas Bed truck
- Oilfield experience is a plus
- English required; French is not needed
- Must pass a fit test and a drug and alcohol test
- Submit your current safety tickets and a recent driver's abstract with your application
What the job involves
- Working independently when needed
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Logging hours electronically
- Reporting hazard IDs
- Taking part in monthly and onsite safety meetings
