About this job
Our company in Winnipeg, MB is looking for Class 1 drivers to run freight as part of a two-person team. You'll share driving duties with a partner, keeping loads moving safely and on schedule across your routes.
Pay
- Up to $1,500.00 per week
What you'll do
- Share driving, rest periods and route planning with your team partner
- Run pre-trip and post-trip checks on the truck, covering brakes, lights and tires
- Keep logs, delivery paperwork and compliance records up to date
- Stay in touch with dispatch about schedules, delays or route issues
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license with a clean driving record
- At least one year of commercial driving experience within the last three years
- Able to pass a criminal background check (handled by the company)
- Familiar with freight handling and safety procedures
- Comfortable working closely with a co-driver
- Physically able to handle long hours driving, loading, unloading and inspecting the vehicle
