About this job
Our company in Calgary needs a Class 1 driver to deliver propane to customers around the city, Monday through Friday. Propane experience is a bonus but not required — training is available for the right person.
Pay
- From $35.00 per hour
- Training wage is $25.00 per hour for new drivers
Schedule
- Part-time position running from September to July
- Works Monday through Friday
What you'll haul
- Propane, delivered using a hydraulic delivery system
- Daily loading happens at refineries
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license
- 5 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Comfortable working independently and handling multiple tasks
- Able to perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip vehicle checks
- Willing to do basic vehicle repairs and upkeep
- Keeps accurate logs of hours, maintenance and cargo
