Class 1 Pipe Hauling Truck Driver — $35–$40/hr

Our company is looking for a Class 1 driver with pipe hauling experience to move pipe and oilfield freight across Alberta, based out of Leduc and Lac La Biche. You'll handle load securement, equipment checks, and occasional overnight stays in the truck for farther deliveries.

Pay

• $35.00 to $40.00 per hour, plus overtime opportunities

Home time

• Primarily based in Leduc and Lac La Biche

• Occasionally requires sleeping in the truck overnight for distant deliveries

What you'll haul

• Pipe and related oilfield freight using flatbed and heavy haul equipment

• Load securement with chains, binders, and winches

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license with a clean commercial driving abstract

• At least 2 years hauling pipe, flatbed, or heavy equipment

• Solid grasp of oilfield safety rules and load securement standards

• Forklift, loader, and winch operation is a plus

• Willing to work in all weather and remote areas

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections

• Load and secure pipe safely for transport

• Keep logbooks, bills of lading, and delivery paperwork accurate and current

• Coordinate with dispatch and yard staff on scheduling and site needs

• Handle minor mechanical issues or roadside fixes when needed
