About this job
Our company Inc, a family-owned modular and panelized building supplier based in Sussex, NB, needs a Class 1 or Class 3 Truck Driver for a full-time, permanent role out of Elmsdale, NS. You'll haul, set up and take down office trailers and modular units for clients, mostly within Nova Scotia with occasional trips to other Maritime provinces.
What you'll haul
- Office trailers and modular buildings, delivered to client sites across different industries
What you'll do
- Drive trucks to transport and deliver the units safely
- Set up, install and demobilize modular units on-site, including physical work like leveling and securing units on jack stands and putting in aluminum stairs
- Keep your truck running safely with routine upkeep
- Pitch in on office trailer maintenance when there's time
Schedule
- Full-time, at least 42.5 hours per week
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license with a clean abstract
- At least 3 years of professional driving experience, oversize or specialty load experience preferred
- Solid mechanical skills for basic repairs and maintenance
- Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and work without close supervision
- Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check if required
