About this job
Our company is hiring an experienced Class 1 tractor operator for oilfield hauling out of its yard and shop in Nisku, AB. You get an assigned truck from a modern fleet, and the role is full-time and permanent with positions open right away.
Pay
- Starts at $35.00 per hour
What you'll do
- Load, tie down and haul equipment safely
- Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections every day
- Keep your ELD logs accurate in Samsara
- Work off-road and in winter weather, including chaining up
- Stay in touch with dispatch and the field crews
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
Equipment
- A range of trailers: hi-boy, scissor neck, step deck and wheelers
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 licence
- At least 3 years of oilfield driving on Class 1
- Off-road and winter hauling experience
- Solid grasp of load securement, weights, dimensions and Hours of Service
- Ability to work a 24/7 on-call rotation
- A careful, safety-first approach
- Nice to have: H2S Alive, Standard First Aid & CPR, Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
