Class 1 Long Haul Truck Driver — $26.82–$29.52/hr

Our company in Regina, SK is hiring a full-time long haul driver to move freight over long distances and get it delivered safely and on schedule. Besides driving, you will check your truck, handle basic repairs and load and unload cargo with a forklift.

Pay

• $26.82 to $29.52 per hour.

What you'll do

• Haul goods and materials between cities over long distances.

• Map out your routes and timing so cargo arrives on schedule.

• Load and unload freight, using a forklift where needed.

• Check the vehicle for mechanical problems and carry out basic fixes.

• Log your mileage, fuel use and delivery details accurately.

• Obey traffic laws and safety rules at all times.

Requirements

• A Class 1 licence and a clean driving record.

• Experience as a long haul driver or in a similar role.

• Solid knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance.

• Ability to run a forklift.

• Good organization, time management, communication and customer service skills.

• Freight transportation experience is a plus but not mandatory.
