Class 1 Log Hauler — $53.54 per Cycle Hour, Year-Round Work

Martushev Logging is hiring Class 1 log truck drivers in Whitecourt, AB for steady, year-round hauling within a 160 km radius, with maintenance support and housing help available.

Pay

• $53.54 per cycle hour

• Also structured as 28% of the trucking rate, based on 4.30 tonne/hr by net payload for a 6.5-hour cycle time or greater, or 4.25 tonne/hr by net payload for anything under 6.5 hours

• A retention bonus of an extra $2.00 per cycle hour is paid out at season's end, but only if you stay for the full season

Schedule and base

• Work is based out of Whitecourt, AB

• Some shifts start at night

• You'll be working within a 160 km radius, and the role is ELD exempt

• This is full-time, year-round work with no seasonal layoffs

Requirements

• Class 1 license with at least 3 years of driving experience

• Comfortable driving off-road and in winter conditions

• Mechanically minded enough to handle minor truck troubleshooting

• Log hauling background is a plus but not mandatory

• Clean Commercial Driver's Abstract

• Able to work independently and stay on top of deadlines

• French is not required
