This local Class 1 driving job is based out of Dartmouth and keeps you home every night. It's steady, year-round work with a Monday to Saturday schedule.
Routes and schedule
- You'll handle pickups and deliveries within a 200 km radius of Dartmouth
- Work runs Monday through Saturday
- You're home every day, with dependable, consistent hours
What you'll do
- Drive a Class 1 commercial vehicle safely, following all transportation rules and company procedures
- Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections every day
- Load and unload freight, including safe use of an electric power jack
- Keep paperwork accurate and deliveries on time
- Keep your assigned truck clean and well cared for
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver's license
- At least 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
- Clean driver's abstract and solid safety history
- Comfortable operating a power jack
- Able to complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Reliable, hardworking and able to manage your own time
- Good communication and customer service skills
Pay
$20.00-$27.00 per hour
