Class 1 Fluid Hauler — $35–$40/hr

Our company in Slave Lake, AB needs an experienced Class 1 driver to haul fluid for pipeline hydrotesting work. You will move fluid and related freight to field sites, and you will also haul other bulk fluids both on and off the highway.

Pay

• $35.00 to $40.00 per hour.

• Where you land in that range depends on your experience and a probation period.

What you'll do

• Drive a commercial truck carrying fluid and freight between set locations.

• Load, unload and position materials safely, using a forklift or similar equipment when the job calls for it.

• Keep field colleagues updated and time deliveries so the hydrotesting work stays on schedule.

• Run basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.

Schedule and conditions

• Expect extended hours.

• Sleeping overnight in the truck bed may come up.

• The job is in person.

Requirements

• Class 1 licence and proven driving experience.

• A clean abstract and good references.

• Completed TDG, WHMIS and log book paperwork.

• Able to work independently without constant direction.

• Keep your truck very clean and well organized.

• Safe freight handling, attention to detail, clear communication and following site procedures.

Nice to have

• Heavy equipment operation or automotive repair skills.
