About this job
Our company, a family-run carrier operating since 1945, is looking for an on-call, part-time or spare Class 1 driver based out of Kentville, NS or Mississauga, ON. The company runs about 325 trucks across Canada and the US, moving both dry and temperature-controlled freight on TL and LTL lanes, with some weekend work expected.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of verifiable Class 1 driving experience
- A clean criminal background check
- Clean driving and CVOR abstracts
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Familiarity with Automatic Onboard Recorders is a plus
