Class 1 Cross-Border Truck Driver — $65,000–$95,000/Year

Our company in Port Williams, NS needs a Class 1 driver for their open deck freight operation. You'll haul loads across the Canada-US border, handling long-haul runs while staying on top of customs paperwork and safety rules.

What you'll haul

• Open deck freight moving between Canadian and US points

What you'll do

• Drive a Class 1 commercial truck on long-haul, cross-border routes

• Get freight to its destination on schedule

• Handle customs paperwork like bills of lading and manifests

• Check your truck before and after each trip

• Keep accurate ELD logs and follow hours-of-service rules

• Stay on top of company safety policies

• Keep dispatch and customers in the loop

Pay

$65,000.00-$95,000.00 per year, paid per mile or hourly

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 / AZ license

• At least 3 years of long-haul or cross-border driving experience

• Valid passport and the ability to cross the Canada-US border

• Clean driving abstract and clean criminal record

• Familiarity with DOT and Canadian trucking rules

• Comfortable working with electronic logging devices

• Good at managing your time and solving problems on the road

Nice to have

• FAST card

• TDG certification

• Flatbed, step deck or RGN trailer experience

• Basic mechanical skills
