About this job
Our company is looking for a Truck Driver to haul freight safely and on schedule, using a Class 1 license. You'll need to be able to cross into the United States as part of the job.
Pay
- $0.52 per mile
- $30 per drop
- 40-60 hours per week
What you'll do
- Operate trucks to deliver goods and materials to assigned locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload freight, using a forklift when needed
- Keep records of deliveries, mileage, fuel use, and maintenance
- Stay in touch with dispatch about schedules and issues on the road
- Follow traffic laws and company policies
- Handle basic repairs on the road as needed
Requirements
- Class 1 License
- Able to travel into the United States
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures
- Forklift experience preferred
- Basic automotive repair knowledge a plus
This is a full-time, permanent, in-person position.
