Class 1 Cross-Border Flatdeck Driver — $5,000–$8,500/Month

Our company, a hauling company with over 30 years in the business, is hiring long-haul Class 1 drivers out of Red Deer, AB. You will run flat deck freight across Canada and into the USA in your own assigned truck and trailer.

Pay

• $5,000.00-$8,500.00 per month

• Full-time, permanent position

What you'll do

• Inspect the truck before and after each trip and keep up the preventative maintenance checklist

• Tarp and untarp loads and make sure cargo is properly secured

• Pick up and deliver freight safely and efficiently

• Handle freight paperwork, including customs documents, packing lists and bills of lading

• Keep electronic logs and report the service and repair status of your equipment

• Report any maintenance or safety concerns on your truck and trailer

• Follow all traffic laws, safety rules and company policies

Requirements

• Class 1 license with at least 2 years of Class 1 driving experience

• At least 1 year of flat deck experience

• Valid passport and the ability to cross the border

• Fluent spoken and written English (a new USA requirement)

• Clean driver abstract, criminal record search and US DOT drug and alcohol screen

• Applicants from outside the continent will not be considered
