Class 1 Container Driver — $26.50/hr, Steady Year-Round Work

Transplus, a family-owned Canadian logistics company operating since 1993, is hiring a permanent, full-time Class 1 driver to move containers throughout Quebec. Shifts start at 6am, and the role offers consistent, year-round work. Note: this company does not hire incorporated drivers.

Pay

• $26.50 per hour

• $31 per hour when hauling flatbed loads

What you'll haul

• Containers moving to and from customer sites across Quebec

• Pickups and drop-offs at the Port of Montreal and at CN and CP rail terminals

Schedule

• Full-time, permanent day shift beginning at 6am

• Based out of Ville Saint-Laurent, QC

• Immediate start available

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 licence

• At least 1 year behind the wheel in a Class 1 vehicle

• Hands-on container hauling experience is mandatory

• Familiarity with the Port of Montreal and CN/CP yards

• A clean abstract (issued within the last 3 months) will be checked during hiring

• French language skills needed; English is a plus

Responsibilities

• Move containers between customer locations and port/rail terminals

• Carry out pre-trip, en-route and post-trip vehicle checks

• Keep accurate daily logs and transport paperwork

• Make sure loads are properly secured and inspected per regulations

• Quickly flag any mechanical issues, accidents or delays

• Follow company safety rules and use required protective gear
