Class 1/AZ Driver Merchandiser — $29/hr

Coke Canada Bottling needs a Driver Merchandiser to deliver, stock and merchandise product for accounts in Stellarton and Truro, NS. You'll drive a company truck and also handle in-store restocking.

Schedule

• No guaranteed hours; expect 40 or more hours per week during busy periods

What you'll do

• Drive a Coke Canada Bottling fleet truck to deliver pre-ordered product on your assigned route

• Confirm your load is accurate and secure, inspect the truck before heading out, and hitch the trailer

• Unload product at each customer location and bring it inside

• Stock, rotate and merchandise product on racks, shelves, displays and coolers, moving it from the backroom to the sales floor with a pallet jack or hand-truck

• Follow store and company rules for backroom handling, display upkeep, equipment use and safety

• Return company property and build solid working relationships with customers and coworkers

Requirements

• Class 1 or AZ license with air brake endorsement, with no major violations in the past 3 years

• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience

• 1 to 3 years of general work experience

• Local delivery experience is a plus

• Able to repeatedly lift and carry product up to 50 lbs (22 kg), including above shoulder height, without help

• Able to push and pull loaded manual or powered equipment (pallet jack, hand-truck) for at least 100 yards without help
