Class 1/AZ Driver Merchandiser — $29/h

Coke Canada Bottling needs a Driver Merchandiser to deliver and stock product for stores around Stellarton and Truro, NS. You'll drive a company truck on an assigned route, then handle the in-store merchandising work that keeps shelves and displays full.

Schedule

• Hours aren't guaranteed, but expect 40+ hours a week during busy periods

What you'll do

• Haul pre-ordered loads to assigned customer accounts in a company fleet truck

• Confirm your load is accurate and secure, inspect the truck pre-trip, and hitch the trailer

• Unload product and bring it into the customer's store

• Stock, rotate and merchandise product on racks, shelves, displays and coolers, moving it from the backroom to the sales floor with a pallet jack or hand-truck

• Follow store and company rules for backroom handling, floor displays, restocking and safety

• Return company equipment and build good working relationships with store staff and coworkers

Requirements

• Class 1 or AZ license with air brake endorsement and a clean record (no major violations in the past 3 years)

• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience

• 1-3 years of general work experience; local delivery background is a plus

• Able to repeatedly lift and carry product up to 50 lbs (22 kg) overhead without help

• Able to push and pull loaded manual or powered equipment (pallet jack, hand-truck) for at least 100 yards unassisted
