Class 1/5 Truck Driver (Airbrakes) — $21.00–$23.00/hr

Our company in Winnipeg, MB is looking for a Class 1 or Class 5 driver with airbrakes to handle freight runs on set routes. You'll be responsible for the truck, the paperwork and keeping deliveries moving smoothly.

Pay

• $21.00-$23.00 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive Class 1 and Class 5 trucks with airbrakes to move freight along assigned routes

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections so the vehicle stays safe and compliant

• Keep delivery logs, shipment paperwork and maintenance records up to date

• Stay in contact with dispatch, warehouse staff and customers to line up pickups and drop-offs

• Stick to traffic laws, safety rules and company procedures on the road

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 or Class 5 license with airbrakes endorsement

• Commercial driving background, ideally including heavy equipment work

• Comfortable and safe operating forklifts and other heavy machinery

• Familiar with freight handling steps and transport rules

• Can handle basic repairs to fix minor vehicle problems

• Detail-oriented, safety-focused and a clear communicator

• Physically able to lift heavy loads and do manual work on the job

• About 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred

• English preferred

• Able to commute to or relocate near Winnipeg, MB R2R 1V2
