CDL Tanker Driver — $27–$35/hr, Livestock & Hay Hauling

Our company in Rupert, ID needs a dependable CDL driver to haul milk tankers, cattle and hay across various routes. You'll handle a mix of tanker, flatbed and tractor-trailer combinations while keeping deliveries on time and safe.

Pay

• $27.00 to $35.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Milk in tankers, cattle, and hay

• Equipment includes tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tanker trucks

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned routes safely across different trailer types

• Use GPS to plan efficient routes and hit delivery windows

• Load and unload freight by hand, following proper handling methods to protect cargo

• Follow FMCSA, DOT, and hazardous materials rules on every run

• Keep delivery paperwork, logs and reports accurate and current

• Check your vehicle before and after each trip and flag any mechanical or safety problems right away

Requirements

• Solid truck driving background, including delivery and route work, with a clean driving record

• Valid CDL with a Tanker endorsement

• Comfortable operating flatbed and tanker tractor-trailer combinations

• Working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT rules, plus safe loading and unloading practices

• Confident driving a manual transmission

• Strong physical ability to load and unload cargo by hand

• Good GPS and route-planning skills, including over-the-road routes

• Able to handle long hours on the road and lift heavy loads when needed
