CDL Route Driver — $28.88/hr, Mon-Fri Schedule

Our company Yuba Sutter in Marysville, CA is looking for a commercial driver to run assigned routes safely and keep good relationships with customers in the service area. Pay is set under the union contract, and the schedule is Monday through Friday with some early mornings.

Pay

• $28.88 per hour, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm

• Some mandatory overtime may be needed to finish the route

What you'll do

• Check and inspect your truck before and after each shift

• Follow all required safety steps while driving and working your route

• Run your assigned route efficiently and on time

• Load materials correctly and flag any issues to your supervisor

• Keep hazardous materials off the truck whenever possible

• Stay within legal load weight limits

• Report any accidents or safety concerns right away

• Represent the company well with customers and the community

Requirements

• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience (2+ years preferred)

• Knowledge of job site safety practices and relevant waste regulations

• Basic computer skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Valid commercial driver's license and current medical card

• Able to repeatedly lift, push and pull receptacles throughout the shift

• Able to get in and out of the truck frequently

• Able to complete pre- and post-trip inspections

• Available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed

• Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions

• Able to stay productive and focused over long shifts, including under pressure

• Able to understand safety and maintenance procedures

• Good communication skills with coworkers, supervisors and customers, including two-way radio use
