CDL Hotshot Truck Driver — $600–$1,500/Week

Our company is looking for a CDL driver to run hotshot freight over the road, handling a mix of trailer types and cargo on regional and national lanes.

What you'll haul

• Freight needing tractor-trailers, including refrigerated units, flatbeds and tankers

• Hazardous materials and other dangerous goods, handled to safety protocol

• Specialty loads such as auto transport shipments

What you'll do

• Drive manual-transmission commercial trucks on OTR routes, following FMCSA and DOT rules

• Load and unload freight by hand or with equipment like forklifts, taking care with hazmat, refrigerated and specialty cargo

• Plan routes and track deliveries using GPS, balancing speed with fuel efficiency and safety

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep maintenance logs current

• Stay in touch with dispatch on delivery progress, route issues or delays

Requirements

• Valid CDL with endorsements matching the freight you'll carry; Hazmat certification is a plus but not required for every run

• Background in commercial driving, delivery or freight transport

• Comfortable working with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers or similar specialized equipment

• Familiar with hours-of-service rules, hazmat regulations and DOT safety requirements

• Able to load and unload cargo safely, by hand or with equipment

• Confident using GPS tools for route planning and live tracking

Pay

$600.00 to $1,500.00 per week
